Lexington/Chenoa update on sharing a Pastor from Tom Norris, Chairman of the Congregation

The Elders have a copy of a draft “Multi Parish Agreement” to review for changes. Current Proposal for Service times is Lexington at 8:45 and Chena at 10:30 still. A suggestion for alternating Sunday worship times every year is being discussed. Pastor Ronchetto will be living in our Parsonage. This is figured into our share of the Salary as a reduction. The Lexington Elders meet February 6th to discuss the “Multi Joint Parish Agreement” and proposed change in alternating Sunday Worship every year. Chenoa Elders are meeting February 13th. Updates and question are currently being shared via email/phone on our discussions with Lexington After all parties come to an agreement on the “Multi Joint Parish Agreement” and Call Documents, these documents are to be sent to the district office for review. Once this is done a voters meeting will be scheduled and the ‘Multi Joint Parish Agreement” and Call Documents will be available for any to review and ask questions before the voter meetings.

Camp CILCA’s Woodcutters’ Retreat

February 23-24, 2024 Saint Paul admonishes the Christians of Corinth to “act like men.” Cutting trees, splitting wood, fellowship with other men, good food, and time in God’s word are all great ways to get started in this endeavor. You do not have to be skilled in using a chainsaw, hammer, or tractor to come to this event. Strong backs and eager hands are just as helpful. For more information or to register, go to www.cilca.org using the events/retreats tab under “act like men” events.
